A meeting of Jammu based reserved category employees serving in Kashmir was held.
During meeting, employees of various departments, whose salaries are withheld and whom notices are being served for remaining unauthorized absent stated that it is becoming difficult for them to carry on with their daily expenses without salaries.
It is pertinent to mention here that after the selective killing of Rajni Bala, serving in Kulgam district, all Jammu based employees had left the valley for their safety and security and started a peaceful protest in Jammu.
These employees said that still the situation is not conducive in Kashmir for them to resume their duties.
They appealed to the LG Administration to issue necessary instructions to all the departments collectively to not to pressurize the Jammu based employees serving in Kashmir Division to resume duties in the prevailing situation in Kashmir and release their salaries before August 15, 2022.
