Commemorating the 75th years of Independence under the theme ‘Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav’, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) today launched the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga Campaign’ at BJP’s RS Pura district Office Kullian.
During this program organized under the chairmanship of BJP’s district head Sardar Harbhajan Singh Pammi, BJP’s state vice president and former minister Sham Lal Choudhary, district in-charge Ayodhya Gupta, DDC member Professor Garu Ram Bhagat, former MLA Ashwini Sharma, general secretary Akash Chopra and many senior party leaders and workers were also present on the occasion.
While addressing the party workers, Sham Lal Choudhary said that the idea behind the initiative is to invoke the feeling of patriotism and to remember the sacrifices of the people for the country’s Independence.
He added that the party would also launch the campaign in every district, block, village and booth level to ensure that the National Flag reaches every household for hoisting during this year’s Independence Day.
