Udhampur, 4 August: Upset and angered students thronged Roads in Ghordi Block of Udhampur district as higher secondary school Ghordi have Shortage of Lectures and other teaching Staff.

The student of Govt Higher Secondary School, Ghordi held protest and blocked road for some time in protest of their demands  while boycotting  their classes they  came out on the road and staged dharna and shouted slogans against the School Education authorities of J&K UT.

According to the report, the staff shortage does not catch the attention of top brass of the education department even when the higher secondary school has high student enrolling capacity.

The protesting students allegedly told  the media that most of the  posts of Masters and Lecturers are lying vacant in their school and the  matter regarding the same was also brought to the attention of  the concerned CEO and to the District and Sub Divisional Administration also by their parents and public representatives, but no body took the cognizance of this issue.

The protesting students further said that their study is badly affected with the non-availability of the  teaching staff in their school.
