Plantation drive under different schemes is rolling in full swing in Reasi Forest Division
Jammu Aug 1, Reasi Forest Division conducted massive plantation drive at Govt Degree College Reasi under the banner J&K Green drive where about more than 200 plants were planted and distributed .
ABVP Reasi hosted the function where Divisional Forest Officer Reasi, Ms Jyotsana was the chief guest who along with many students and professors of the college were also enrolled as van mitras under the program called VAN MITRA of J&K Forest department.
Plants were also planted in premises of newly born girl infants under the programme ‘ped lagao beti ke naam ‘ while the sole aim of the department was to cover maximum area under green cover and make Reasi a green district.
