A mother-daughter duo sustained fatal injuires in a road accident when they were travelling on a scooty in Hiranagar area of Kathua, today.
According to the report, the incident occured when the mother and her daughter who were going on a scooty bearing registration number JK08E2124 got hit by a speedy matador at the Jandi morh in kathau’s Hiranagar , in which the mother died at the scene while her daughter sustained fatal injuries and was rushed to the nearest hospital by the locals.

The deceased has been identified as Santosh Kumari w/o Surender Kumar resident of Chhann Khatriyan.
The matador operator ran away from the scene leaving the victims, as per the report.
