Poonch flash floods: Rescue operation on, 26 trapped for 2nd consecutive day
According to officials, the effort to rescue 26 persons who were stranded by flash floods in the Chandak Bela area of Poonch resumed on Friday.
According to the officials, efforts are being made to save the members of six families who were stranded in a local rivulet after a flash flood was caused by heavy rainfall. On Thursday, the government and the army worked together to rescue four persons.
Dr. Basharat Inglabani, Poonch’s additional district development commissioner, stated that efforts are being made to rescue the remaining people.
