Samba : July 26 , 22 :The Samba police on Tuesday arrested two drug smugglers including a man and a women with 4.5 grams of heroin recovered from their possession ( 4 g from women and 0.5 g man ).
The accused is identified as Manohar Lal alias Mintu , S/O Shambhu Lal , a resident of Katra , Reasi .While the identity of women is witheld . She is a resident of Sarore .

A senior police officer said that based on reliable information a team of policemen laid a trap near Gujjar Basti area of Sarore, Samba and nabbed both the smugglers who were roaming under suspicious circumstances .
The Samba police has filed a case under relevant sections of NDPS Act against both the accused Further investigation into the matter is underway to find out the larger racket involved in carrying out such illegal activities.
The areas especially Sarore , Rakh Barotia, Balol Khad and Manohar Gopal areas are the hotspots of illegal activities in Samba district.
