Samba, 25 July: Four  workers  sustained injuries after they tumbled one-by-one in a factory’s tank at Samba.

The incident took place when the workers went to clean a tank situated in  a factory named Koyoko Camlin in Samba’s industrial area and  they were rushed to the nearest hospital by the factory’s staff when they heard about the mishap.

A senior doctor said that the four injured workers were brought at the hospital exactly at 3’o clock by the factory staff in which three of them sustained critical injuries after tumbling in the tank and laying unconscious there by inhaling some poisonous gas for sometime.

He further told that  three of them have been shifted to GMC, Bakshi Nagar   while one has been kept under his observation as his condition is stable now.

An injured worker said that they received orders to clean the factory’s tank  and  first two of them went inside the tank but the  moment they went there, they were exposed to some poisonous gas which fainted them at the scene following which two remained workers also tumbled inside and went unconscious.

The victims are being treated at the hospital.
