At least two persons died, while seven others were injured after after a SUV carrying a marriage party rolled down into a gorge in Ramsoo area of Ramban district on Sunday afternoon.
“Accident near Ramsoo on NH-44. 2 dead, 7 injured, who have been shifted to SDH Banihal. More details awaited, ” Deputy Commissioner Ramban said in a tweet.
Report said that the cab rolled down into the gorge near Badrkot area of Ramsoo, resulting in on spot death to two and injuries to seven others.
The vehicle with Chandigarh registration number was carrying marriage party when the accident took place.
An official said that soon after the incident police and locals reached to the spot for rescue operation and recovered the two bodies while injured were evacuated to a nearby hospital.
