In an astounding event today, an 11yr old girl was found unconscious in Jammu’ s Patoli who was going to inform police about the domestic violence she is facing.
According to the news report, an 11yr girl child who is a resident of Dumail area of Udhampur was found unconscious near Patoli area of Jammu wearing a school uniform and was brought to senses with the help of locals ,who later informed the media what happened with her.

Anjali the child told the media that today she was going to inform the local police about domestic violence which she receives at the hands of Vandana Kotwal in whose house she was sent by her mother to study, but rather she is forced by her to look after the house.
She further allegedly said that she was sleeping and when she opened her eyes, she found herself in a house in Jammu brought by her mother and later when some days passed the house owner began to force her to manage the domestic chores.
Adding she said that her house keepers use to feed her mostly uncooked food and also use to beat her with sticks, whenever she fails to do the domestic work.
A local said that poor parents of such kids use to send their children for some thousands to these people on the pretext that their kids will be provided good education and living , while its opposite use to happen to their kids beacuse such people later use to torture these kids for which they must be jailed, he said.
Another local added that this girl was going to the school and fainted when she reached here , then after some time, few local people who found her lying unconscious here woke her up and fed her food. After that she told them she wants to inform the local police about her house owner who use to beat and don’t want her to study instead only tells her to oversee the daily chores.
Later the locals of Patoli marched towards the local police station along with the victim to register an FIR.
