Scores of anguished students of Govt Degree College Kathua today held agitation lashing out the University of Jammu.
The prostesting students shouted slogans in favour of their demands and accused the local uniuversity of Jammu the reason of their resentment.

Sunny Dogra one of the protestors allegedly said that the Jammu university want to privitise the education of its students and they want to burden the students of various colleges who come under the supervision of JU while in covering the syallbus of a six month semester in just two months.
He futher said that it cannot be possible for the students to cover the whole semester syllabus in such short time and if that is the case then the students are bound to be fail.
Adding further he said that the University of jammu wants to revive the old age colonial tradition and wants to privatise the public funded university dumping out the under-privilege students education from the govt institutions.
Lastly he said that they to warn the university’s administration that they will also hold massive agitations in various parts of Kathua district if they fail to fulfill their demands.
