Udhampur Police under the overall supervision of SSP Udhampur Dr. Vinod Kumar, IPS today seized 03 vehicles involved in illegal transportation of construction material in the jurisdiction of Police Post Tikri.
A Police team headed by IC PP Tikri PSI Abdul Satar seized 03 tippers from Manthal area of Tikri having registration nos. Jk02BJ 7986, JK14F 9075 and JK14B 9725 indulged in illegal extraction/transporting of construction material from river bed. All the seized vehicles were immediately handed over to the officials of Geological and Mining department Udhampur for further legal proceedings.
While giving the details SSP Udhampur conveyed that Udhampur Police is committed for protecting the public property and to eradicate the menace of illegal mining from the area.
