The local police arrested a woman who was peddling drugs at a village Radwan in Ramgarh area of Samba.

According to sources, on being informed by the reliable sources the local Ramgarh police swung into action and apprehended the woman who was carrying 2.5 grams of heroin.
Furthermore it has been revealed that the woman is the resident of the mentioned village and she has been booked by the Ramgarh police under Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act (NDPS).
It has been reported that Police is further investigating the case and interrogating the accused as chances are there could be more people involved in smuggling drugs in the area which is considered to be the root cause of rise in crime rate.
