An incident of theft has been reported from Khanpur area of Ramgarh sub-sector of Samba district . Police is yet to locate the accused involved .

A house break-in was reported in Khanpur area while all family members were out . The burglar had entered the house by jumping the wall and had decamped with 200 grams of gold and around five thousand cash . Two pendrives were also stolen by the thieves.
When family members returned they found the house burgled as every room was in a mess and the locks of almirah and door were found broken . Gold along with cash was missing.
A complaint regarding the same has been registered at Ramgarh police station. There have been rising cases of thefts reported from Samba district which points finger at the working of local police.
Police officials are requested to initiate. enquiry into the matter and locate the thieves at the earliest.
