Today, Several members of the PHE united front Jammu held a protest march in Jammu.

Dominated with the voices of anger and resistance the anguished PHE employees raised their demands of regularisation while shouting the slogans against the present BJP government.

Ravi Hans member of PHE front employee said, It has been 28 years since 1994 we are demanding the regularisation of the temporary PHE employees as still we are temporary workers and are being treated by the govt as bonded labours and our kids are sleeping hungry under BJP’s rule”.

Furthermore he said, “Since 70 months our salaries are pending and our foremost demand is the regularisation of temporary PHE employees, 10 lakh rupees compensation on retirement, implementation of equal wage salary for all and a job for the relatives of the deceased employee who died during the service. We have been addressing our demands to various regimes from past 28 years and it’s the 28th day of our protest but still nothing has been done for us by the local LG govt. Last year we also went to Rajbhawan and registered our issues to Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha but two years have passed and nothing has been in our favour”.

“We want to warn the local govt that we will intensify our demonstrations which will lead to law and order problem here, if our demands are not completed on time”, he added.
