Yesterday, Samba police solved a case of snatching in which they recovered stolen items from a snatcher.

The Samba police arrested the accused Anil Singh s/o Balwinder Singh who is a resident of Rajouri from Reasi who was absconding from the Vijaypur police since he snatched the purse from a woman at vijaypur railway chowk few days ago.
The report said, the Samba police was looking for the accused since the day when the victim registered FIR after the incident at the local vijaypur police station.After that when the local police start getting leads from its sources the snatcher was nabbed by them in the Reasi district.
The local police recovered valuable articles worth 3 lakh rupees from the snatcher such as mobile phone,jewellery.
The local police successfully solved the theft case which came out as a hope for the residents of Samba and also in future the Samba police will try to solve and prevent such other crimes, the report added.
