Zee News editor-in-chief and CEO Sudhir Chaudhary has resigned from his position, sources said on Friday.

Chaudhary started his career with Zee and has been working in the TV news industry for close to three decades.
In 2003, he left Zee News and joined Sahara. He was instrumental in launching the company’s Hindi news channel – Sahara Samay. Later, he was also associated with India TV for a brief period.
In 2012, Chaudhary rejoined Zee News and began hosting its prime time show Daily News & Analysis (DNA). The show became extremely popular, however, it also invited criticism only many occasions.
