In the scorching heat today in Jammu, daily wagers of PHE Department showed their resentment against the local govt demanding their regularization.

Amid cries of ‘Regularization’ the local PHE workers carried-out a protest in Jammu for the regularization of the daily wage workers.
“The local regime is not paying attention to our issues at all. The govt pay us 300₹ daily for our labour which makes upto 9000₹/- month and it is really not sufficient for survival in the times of inflation, we have been working like daily wagers from years and no government has regularized our employment in the PHE department”, one of the protestors said.
He further warned the present government to regularize him else he would commit suicide and kill his family also.
The protestors shouted slogans against the BJP govt and said their kids are sleeping hungry in BJP’s rule in the union territory of Jammu and Kashmir.
