J&K Board of School Education (JKBOSE) declared the result of Higher Secondary Examination Part II (Class 12th), Session Annual, Regular, 2022 Summer Zone of Jammu Division today after the successful conduct of examination and evaluation processes which completes the examination process of 12th class 2022. JKBOSE had given a concession of 30% in the syllabi to the students who had to attempt only 70% marks from the question paper which was treated as 100% for result computation as per Notification no F(Acad-C)relax/Syllabi/X/XI/XII/21 dated 13-08-2021 followed by notification no. F(Acad-C)relax/Syllabi/X/XI/ XII/21 dated:- 27-08-2021.
53939 candidates had appeared in the said examination out of which 37536 have been declared qualified constituting 70% of the total examinees. Out of total examinees, 30010 were Boys and 23929 were Girls. Girls have excelled again by scoring a pass percentage of 75 % against 65 pass % of boys.
The first position has been shared by Bhargav Gupta of GHSS, Boys, Bakshi Nagar, Jammu, Deepti of Little Angels HSS, Kathua, Manpreet Kour of Shiksha Niketan HSS, Jeevan Nagar, Jammu, Shivam Sharma of Infant Jesus HSS, Hira Nagar, Shibeet Raina of KNIT, T.Tillo, Jammu, Simran Gupta of Little Angels HSS, Kathua and Tamana Gupta of Caramel Convent HSS, Jammu in Science stream by securing 99.6% marks whereas Vanshika Misra of Dogra HSS, Shastri Nagar, Jammu has excelled in Commerce stream with 99.4%. In Arts stream the first position has been shared by Ishika Khajuria of GHSS, Bharak, Reasi, Jiya Pathania of S.P.HSS, Jammu, Palak Mahajan of Vijay HSS, Udhampur, Shakshi Sharma of S.P.HSS, Jammu and Sunny Kumar of S.P.Sr.Sec.School, Bari Brahmana by securing 98.8% marks. Whereas, in the faculty of Home Science Ojaswani Mengi of GHSS Mubarak Mandi, Jammu has bagged Ist Position with 87.6% marks. All the papers were successfully conducted as scheduled in the date sheet notified by JKBOSE.

“It is indeed heartening to see that JKBOSE has successfully completed the examination of HSP-II with the declaration of this result in which girls have maintained consistency in outshining boys; my congratulations to every successful examinee for fruition of their hard work and good wishes to those who could not make it this time; they should re-frame their reading strategies for better results. I appreciate one and all associated with the preparation of this result,” she added.
In order to facilitate the access of students to the result gazette, the JKBOSE has made adequate arrangements through various media. The result is available online on the official website of JKBOSE www.jkbose.nic.in and on www.indiaresults.com as well. The candidates can also avail SMS facility by sending the text message to 5676750 by typing jkbose12 followed by a space and Roll No. e.g., ” jkbose12 Roll No.”. Those who don’t have access to Mobile Phones or internet can get their results from their nearest JKBOSE office where the soft copies of result gazettes have been provided. The result is also available in the offices of the Deputy Commissioners of the concerned districts for the convenience of the students and general public.
In case of any query regarding this result, the students have been advised to avoid visiting the JKBOSE office Jammu physically. However, they can email their query at jssecrecy_jd@jkbose.co.in citing all the relevant details which shall be addressed after due processing at the earliest possible. The aggrieved students, if any, can contact their respective schools or the nearest JKBOSE Sub/Branch office.
