A policeman died of cardiac arrest while he was on duty in Kokernag area of south Kashmir’s Anantnag district late last evening, officials said on Thursday.
An official said that Nisar Ahmad Mugloo, a selection grade constable in J-K Police suffered a heart attack last evening.
He said that he was shifted to a nearby hospital where doctors declared him dead on arrival.
The deceased was posted as Personal Security Officer (PSO) of District Development Council (DDC) member of Larooo.
