Police on Tuesday claimed to have killed four terrorists in separate gunfights in Tulibal area of Sopore in north Kashmir’s Baramulla and Tujjan area of south Kashmir’s Pulwama district.

In a separate statement, IGP Kashmir identified one of the slain in Pulwama gunfight as Jaish’s Majid Nazir involved in the killing of SI Farooq Mir as per police.
The gunfights broke out in the wee hours today after security forces launched cordon and search operations in both the areas.
