A medicine scam has occurred today in which private medical stores in Jammu are charging much money than government owned medical stores.
There is a fresh fraudulent case of selling medicinal drugs, tablets in Jammu’s private medical stores at unreasonable high prices,while locals allegedly said that at ‘Pardhanmantri Janaushadhi’ medical outlets similar medicines are available at cheap rates.

Speaking to our media person, a local owner of ‘Pardhanmantri Janaushadhi’ medical outlet said that, “ the medicine which is being sold at private medical shops has higher price than the new Pardhanmantri Janaushadhi medical stores, while interacting further he showcased some medicinal products of his centre commenting “see these are thyroid tablets, hypertension tablets, ointments and gels which we are selling at very cheap prices under Prime minister Janaushdhi scheme and if one buys it from near by private pharmacies the price of these medicines are non reasonably high”.
Conversing further to our media correspondent the local Pardhanmantri Janaushadhi store owner stated that, “our shop is a little on side of the hospital he said one can see as there is a rush in local medical stores and no patient from hospital is coming in our store, he said “ we also have sanitary pads at very low prices”.
Interacting further to our news reporter he said “ I want to appeal to the local public please buy medicines from prime minister Janasudhi medical stores and take full benefits of government schemes as there are around fifty medical outlets across Jammu”.
A customer at the pardhanmantri janaushadhi medical store asserted that, “ this scheme is very beneficial for us medicines are available at very low prices in comparison with the private owned pharmacies, he further accused the pharmaceutical industries and said, “ the private players of medicine industries are earning so much government must take action against them to keep them under check and these government medical stores must be open everywhere in Jammu replacing private medical shops.
