Transactions and other operations have been disrupted in all Jammu and Kashmir Bank branches as a result of system up-gradation.

JK Bank announced in a tweet that the Bank is in process of a system up-gradation. “To deliver better services to our valued customers, the bank is in process of major system up-gradation
which is scheduled to be completed by the end of this month.”

The bank further added: “Although there is no planned outage, however, system upgrade of such large scale may cause temporary service disruptions. We humbly solicit your cooperation and request you to bear with us.”

Meanwhile, the customers told a local news agency, Kashmir News Service (KNS) that bank authorities have failed to improve the services even after facing these issues a lot of times in the recent past.

Notably, two days ahead of Eid-ul-Fitr last month, services of J-K including ATM and mPay services were down most of the time and customers faced a lot of difficulties.

J-K Bank MD and CEO Baldev Prakash had said that Bank was upgrading its software and the upgrade will be complete by the end of this month.

He added that during the upgrade process customers might have to experience interruptions and any inconvenience caused is regretted.
