While talking to the media she said , ” I express my gratitude to the respected LG Manoj Sinha that he paid a visit here in Samba at her residence , sympathised with the grieving family and patiently lend an ear to our grievances regarding our consistent demand for a transfer policy to deploy us to Jammu region from the terror-stricken valley”. She added , ” He assured us that J&K administration will provide every possible assistance and support to the family and will definitely look into the same issue with other government teachers working there . He said that his administration will chalk out a plan to make some safer zones in the valley itself for the trasfer of remaining minority community teachers”. Indu said that though a clarity was lacking in his assurance.

She said , ” after this unfortunate and horrific incident I don’t think we’ll ever be able to go back . All of us are deeply shocked after Rajni ‘s death . She was such an obedient lady and never discriminated among his students. She was a generous person and admired by all. I had a good bonding with her. Me and Rajni were just like sisters. Words will fall short in her praise.”

She went on to say that things were normal in the valley few months back ” people were nice to us even now they are the same they are helpful and coordinate with us quite well but all of a sudden the targeted killings rose in the valley and things started getting worse . And now , no one wants to go back. All are taken aback with the recent happenings in the region. All we demand from the J&K administration is a fair and genuine transfer policy as we all are mentally disturbed with the recent happenings , our lives have come to a standstill , our children are also suffering with us , we request the authorities to take appropriate actions with immediate effect to resolve this issue . Moreover we urge to give priority to female teachers as they suffered more than anyone else . It is needless to say that it becomes a herculean task to handle everything along with children.”
