At least two terrorists were killed in an encounter that broke out in Jammu and Kashmir’s Kupwara area. Both terrorists belonged to the proscribed terror outfit Lashkar e Taiba (LeT), and one of the two was from Pakistan, named Tufail.

This comes a day after, another LeT (Lashkar-e-Taiba) terrorist was killed in an encounter in the Sopore town of Baramulla district. As per the documents recovered from the Pakistani terrorist, his name was Hanzalla and he was a resident of Lahore.

Earlier, a Hizbul Mujahideen (HM) ‘commander’ was killed in an overnight encounter in south Kashmir’s Anantnag district, the Jammu and Kashmir police said on Saturday.
