UPSC declared the 2021 Civil Services Examination result on May 30th . Shruti Sharma topped the list of the candidates, followed by three other female candidates.
From the UT of J&K Parth Gupta of Trikuta Nagar , Jammu remained the highest ranker with AIR 72 .

• What is your advice for the young UPSC aspirants ?
I would like to advise them that at first be clear in your life as I have seen many people who are already occupied with so many things and alongside they prepare for UPSC but things go worse like this. Stay focused but at the same time don’t be scared as the journey to clear this exam is filled with toils and moils there will be lots of ups and downs but you have to learn how to sail through .
• What else do you like to do other than studies . What are your hobbies ?
I like to play Basketball as I believe it calms my mind . Other than this I also play guitar and like singing quite often.
• What is your message for the audience out there who is watching you ?
I have a genuine message for all the viewers that be nice to others and stay humble when you talk to people. For the young generation I have a very simple message that don’t bring this thing in your mind that cracking IAS is the only big achievement in life , it’s not like that, don’t fall in this trap. There are plenty of other good things to do , just explore your options as per your talent and give your 100% in whatever you do . Stand out and don’t follow the rat race.
