The students of a Government institute held protest against shortage of staff.
A large number of students of Government Higher Secondary School Jakyas in Tehsil Chilly Pingal held protest demonstration.
Amid slogans, the protesting students were demanding adequate staff in the school.
The protesting students also blocked the vehicular movement on the Thathri-Gandoh road and raised slogans against CEO Doda.
Local villagers of Jakyas led by Ishtyak Ahmed Naik also participated in the protest.
The protesting students said that due to the shortage of staff in the school, they are facing manifold problems.
They asked the Government and the local administration to take notice of the issue and fill the vacant posts of staff.
“We will launch agitation if the vacant posts are not filled as early as possible”, the students warned before dispersing.
