The class 4th aspirants staged a protest against JKSSB lamenting the delay in the release of the selection list by the recruitment agency.
Several aspirants assembled in the Press Enclave and said that they were suffering mental agony due to the delay in the release of the selection list.
Abid Farooq from Anantnag while protesting said that Government had issued a notification in 2020 in which it was said that the biggest recruitment will take place in Kashmir.
“There was a total of 8575 candidates out of which 5100 have been appointed in 2021 while as for the remaining, LG Manoj Sinha said that they will be appointed within 2 months, but nothing happened so far,” he said.
The protesting aspirants said that the JKSSB released the list for document verification on February 12 and by 24 March, it was completed. “After that, 25 April, provisional selection list was released and after 4 days, the list was withdrawn.”
They said that the list was revoked stating that there were some technical faults and after a few days, the new list will be put out.
“The list was released within 1 month and the SSB is taking more than that for rectifying the same,” they said.
The protestors said that their families are involved and that they facing a lot due to the delay in the same. “Within one week the selection list should be released or we will be forced to take harsh measures,” they said.
