Residents of Rathana village near Bishnah block of Jammu division united to protest against the opening of liquor shop in the residential areas .

They raise a demand to either close the shop or shift it somewhere else away from the village. As having liquor shops in residential localities causes inconvenience to the public at large. Moreover it can even cause a law and order situation in such areas causing difficulties to women, children and elderly persons.
