Jammu and Kashmir has added another feather to its cap as ace power lifter of J&K , Haroon Choudhary has won silver medal in World Bench Press Championship held at Kazakhstan. Earlier he had earned silver medal in National Bench Press Championship at Goa under Junior , 74 kg category.

Just a day ago 22-year-old Umran Malik , pace sensation of J&K earned his maiden India call up for the five match T20 international series against South Africa.
In the past also various sportspersons from J&K have brought laurels for the region.
