Government today ordered suspension of two Revenue officials who are accused of theft of Registration fee (cash) from the office of Sub-Registrar Chadoora.
Pending enquiry into the matter, Mukhtar Ahmad, Settlement Assistant/Dealing Assistant and Zahoor Ahmad, Settlement Assistant/Dealing Assistant in the office of Sub-Registrar, Chadoora have been placed under suspension with immediate effect. Both the officials shall remain attached in the office of Deputy Commissioner Budgam, till further orders.
According to an order in this regard, Additional Inspector General of Registration, Kashmir, has been appointed as Inquiry Officer in the matter. He shall furnish his report to the office of Commissioner/Secretary, Revenue along with specific recommendations, within fifteen days.
