Doda Police said that on 02.04 2022, Chief Executive Officer Bhaderwah Development Authority complained to Police Post Bhalla regarding the theft of chain link fencing and iron benches from Forest View Resort Khallani Top.
In this regard, a case FIR No. 59/2022 U/S 379 IPC stands registered at Police Station Bhaderwah, and an investigation has been taken up.
During the investigation, acting swiftly on the said complaint, PSI Ankush Sharma IC PP Bhalla activated the reliable sources and rounded up two suspects, namely Aftab Hussain S/O Mohd Ashraf, resident of Khallani and Mohd Yousif, son of Abdul Kareem, resident of Kanso Doda, during questioning both of them confessed that they have stolen the above mention property of BDA Bhaderwah and accordingly stolen property was recovered from their possession.
The arrest of the accused persons and recovery of stolen property has been made under the close supervision of Insp Jatinder Singh Rakwal SHO Police Station Bhaderwah and Meer Gafoor JKPS SDPO Bhaderwah.
