In the attack by terrorists, ASI SP Patel of Satna district of Madhya Pradesh was sacrificed, while 10 CISF personnel, including two police personnel, were injured.

The terrorists carried out this attack just two days before Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to Jammu. However, in this encounter, the security forces killed both the terrorists of Jaish-e-Mohammed. The terrorists carried out this attack in the early hours of Friday in Jalalabad of the Sunjwan military area. First, he threw a grenade at a bus full of CISF personnel and then fired indiscriminately at the gipsy standing ahead. The area is Muslim-dominated, and a short distance away is the Sunjwan Brigade and a CISF establishment. Both the killed Pakistani terrorists were in the midst of a fidayeen attack.
The terrorists came out on the way towards Barmini at around 3:30 am on Friday. They came on the main road and started moving towards the CISF establishment. They first threw a grenade at the CISF bus at the block and then fired indiscriminately with bullets. The driver immediately turned the bus back to avoid firing. Meanwhile, the police officers present in the gipsy retaliated. Due to this, the terrorists escaped with their lives and hid in the house located behind the shuttering goods shop nearby. Hearing the sound of gunshots, army personnel patrolling nearby also reached. Police, CRPF and other contingents of CISF also reached the spot. ASI SP Patel of Madhya Pradesh’s Satna district was sacrificed in the attack, and 10 CISF jawans, including two police officers, were injured. All have been admitted to GMC Hospital.
