Tonight, a non-local couple was injured in a blast at village Jaglanoo in the Koteranka area of Rajouri district.
The blast site was just two kilometres away from Koteranka town, where two powerful explosions took place on March 27, which haven’t been worked out by the Rajouri Police so far.
Militants in Kashmir have quite often been targeting the non-locals.
Non-local couple injured in the blast at Jaglanoo was identified as Vinod and his wife Kranti, both residents of Etah district in Uttar Pradesh.
The couple, putting up in a hut, was immediately shifted to the hospital, where their condition was stable.
Police described the blast as mysterious.
An official statement said a mysterious explosion outside a slum in the Koteranka area.
“A husband and wife duo sustained injuries. Both are hospitalized and are out of danger. An investigation set into motion and cause of the explosion is being ascertained,” the statement said.
