96 Covid Nurses to be Appointed, Priority to be given in permanent appointments

The Department of Health and Medical Education has decided to recruit 96 posts of Kovid Nurse on contract under the National Health Mission in various hospitals of Jammu and Kashmir. Of these, 36 posts are in Government Medical College Jammu, 18 in Directorate of Health, Kashmir. Apart from this, posts are also selected in Doda, Baramulla, Rajouri, Anantnag.

It was also stated that these posts would be notified soon. These candidates will be given priority in subsequent appointments. The Lt Governor has assured the nursing and paramedical staff that their contract will be extended for another three months. He also assured that all these would be given priority even in permanent appointments.

The government has constituted a committee for selection to director in Sher-e-Kashmir Institute of Medical Sciences. Chief Secretary Arun Kumar Mehta will be the chairman of the committee while Dr Randeep Guleria, Director, All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi, Dr Surjit Singh, Director, PGI Chandigarh, Prof. Former Director of All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi. MC Mishra will be a member. On the other hand, the Additional Chief Secretary, Health and Medical Education Department, Vivek Bhardwaj, will be the member secretary. The committee has to prepare a panel of three doctors. Right now, the names of 15 doctors are being discussed.

Qualification for IOCL Recruitment 2022

Age Limit for IOCL Recruitment 2022

Candidates must be at least 18 years old and not more than 24 years old as of December 31, 2021, & January 31, 2022, for General / EWS candidates. The upper age limit for SC/ST/OBC (NCL)/PwBD applicants will be relaxed in accordance with government norms.

Selection Process for IOCL Trade Apprentice

Candidates will be selected based on their performance in the Written Test (Duration 90 Minutes) and meeting the stated eligibility criterion.

The Written Exam will consist of 100 questions that will be Objective Type Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) with four options and one right answer. The questions will be written in both English and Hindi.

Salary for IOCL Recruitment 2022

Apprentices shall be paid a monthly stipend in accordance with the Apprentices Act, 1961/1973, Apprentices Rules 1992 (as amended), and the Corporation’s recommendations.

JMRTC ( Jammu Mass Rapid Transit Corporation) is considering to recruit practising company secretaries/firms for the Corporation on a contractual basis.

Eligibility criterion :

The aspirant should be a member of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India. rules to having experiences of working in reputed companies or financial institutions.

The maximum age of the candidate should not exceed “50” years as of 01.01.2021. The contract can be terminated from either side with prior notice of one month.

Job Profile:

The responsibilities of the candidate would include:

Corporation secretarial assignments such as Report writing, preparation of Annual reports, Director’s report preparation etc. They also need to comply with various statutory, regulatory and other reporting Drafting notes of meeting Agendas, Drafting Minutes of meetings & all other documents. Organising Board of Directors Meetings. Keeping the Board Members updated about their legal responsibilities, Corporate Governance. Safe custody of the corporation seal, Directors DSC’s and DIN Nos. Representation of the Corporation in the legal and services matter. Attending various meetings of the Corporation with the Board of Directors. Authenticate the proceedings of meetings and other documents. The inducted candidates shall have to be available thrice a week or as per the requirement of the corporation.


The interested firms/individuals are hereby advised to furnish their bid in two separate sealed envelops clearly indicating one as Technical Bid (Clause-1) and the other as Financial Bid. (as deemed fit by a candidate for the scope of work defined in clause 3) Interested firms/individuals are also advised not to furnish any particulars or information, which cannot be supported by Documentary Evidence. JKSSB extends last date for online application submission for SI posts


The J&K Services Selection Board has extended the last date for the submission of online applications for the posts of police sub-inspectors in the Home Department till December 18.

The last date for the online submission of the UT cadre SI posts advertised in October this year had been fixed as December 10.

However, Secretary JKSSB, Sachin Jamwal in a notice said that the board had received “numerous representations” from candidates for the last date while extending the same till December 18.
