8-year-old Missing Girl Found Near Kachi Chawani

An 8-year-old girl named Jeevika Kumari resident of Qasim Nagar who went missing yesterday morning from her grandmother’s house at ward number 19, Old University Campus Road, Rajinder Nagar was found near Kachi Chawani by an auto driver named Raju Kumar. The auto driver brought the girl back to her home after the news by JK Media got viral. JK Media also talked with the family members and the auto driver.

The girl’s mother said “I would like to thank JK Media for their coverage. After the video got viral I received a phone call from a woman who informed me that she has spotted my daughter at Parade. I immediately reached the parade and started searching for my daughter. Meanwhile, I received a phone call from my family and they informed me that an auto driver has brought my daughter back. I also thank the auto driver for bringing my daughter back”.

The auto driver said ” I was sitting in my auto when this girl came to me and offered me 30 rupees and asked me to kindly drop her back at her home but I refused and asked the girl to provide me any contact number of her family member. She gave me a contact number but the number was incorrect then I took the girl in my auto and as directed by her we reached Sidra but there she said that it is not the place where lived while returning I stopped my auto near a park where I asked few people if they know anything about her but no one knew anything about her. Soon the girl informed me that she lives near Kali Mata Mandir and I drove my auto towards the Gujjar Nagar Bridge and on the bridge, I saw a police officer and informed him about the girl while I was talking to the police officer the girl asked me to drive further and at a distance, I saw few people near an auto stand and I again asked them about the girl and they told me about the girl and gave me her address. On reaching the girl’s home they were very delighted to see their daughter back and thanked me. I also wanted to thank JK Media for covering the news”.

A local said “we are happy that the girl has returned safely and we thank Raju that in such time there are people like him who are helping others. Also, I thank JK Media for their quick news coverage.
