Srinagar, Feb 14: A five-year-old boy died after falling from a height inside his residence in the Bemina area of Srinagar on Saturday, officials said.
An official said the child sustained critical injuries in the fall and was immediately rushed to SMHS Hospital, where doctors declared him brought dead.
The deceased has been identified as Daniyal Sheikh, son of Parveez Ahmad Sheikh, a resident of Bemina.
Police have taken cognisance of the incident and initiated an investigation to ascertain the circumstances surrounding the tragic death.
