A serious accident happened at Jammu Pathankot National Highway in Bari Brahamana on Wednesday afternoon where a Bus collided with a local matador.
According to reports, the Bus with vehicle number travelling from Kathua hit a Matador with vehicle number JK21A5826 travelling towards Jammu after the driver stopped the Bus abruptly.
The matador has been damaged partially and 5 passengers have been injured as the mirrors and some seats of the matador broke during the clash.
The injured along with the Matador driver have been admitted to Government Medical College Jammu.

Northern Command celebrates Infantry Day at Udhampur
The Udhampur based Northern Command on Wednesday celebrated the Infantry Day with a traditional wreath laying ceremony at the Dhruva War Memorial.
The Defence Spokesman said the Lieutenant General S Harimohan Iyer, Chief of Staff, Headquarters Northern Command laid a wreath on behalf of Lieutenant General Yogesh Kumar Joshi, Army Commander, Northern Command and complimented all ranks and veterans of Infantry for their devotion to duty and indomitable spirit while working under trying and challenging conditions.
He saluted their contributions and sacrifices to protect the territorial integrity of the nation and fighting terrorism with unstinting resolve. The 75th Infantry Day is celebrated on October 27 to commemorate the operations launched by the Indian Army in 1947 to thwart the Pakistani aggression on the State (erstwhile) of Jammu and Kashmir.
On this solemn day, the supreme sacrifices made by the Indian Army in defending the honour and integrity of the nation were remembered by all, said the spokesman.
Cold conditions prevail in Kashmir, sub-zero temperature in Gulmarg, Pahalgam
With overnight fresh light rainfall in some parts, cold conditions continued across Kashmir valley with famous resorts of Pahalgam and Gulmarg recording sub-zero temperatures last night, officials said on Wednesday.
Quoting a meteorological department official, news agency GNS reported that Srinagar recorded minimum temperature of 4.2°C against 7.4°C on previous night. The summer capital had “traces” of rainfall last night, the official said.
Qazigund, the gateway town of Kashmir, recorded a low of 6.2°C against previous night’s 6.2°C, the official said.
Pahalgam, the famous resort in south Kashmir, recorded a low of minus 1.1°C against minus 1.7°C on previous night, he said.
Kokernag, also in south Kashmir, recorded a minimum of 2.4°C against 4.8°C on previous night, the official said. it had rainfall of 1.4mm last night, the official said.
Kupwara town of the north Kashmir recorded a low 2.4°C against 2.8°C on the previous night, the official said.
Gulmarg, the world famous skiing resort in north Kashmir, recorded a minimum of minus 1.4°C against previous night’s minus 1.2°C, the official said. it had 0.4mm of rainfall overnight, the official added.
The temperatures have fallen considerably after record rainfall and snowfall in some plains and upper reaches.
The MeT office has forecast mainly dry weather over Jammu and Kashmir divisions till November 2.
Leopard caught in Jammu, shifted to Manda zoo
The wildlife department caught a leopard after it strayed into a village in the outskirts of Jammu on Tuesday, officials said.
The leopard ran into a trap laid by villagers of Bhalwal-Brahmana in Akhnoor to safeguard their maise crop from damage by wild animals, they said.
They said the villagers were surprised to see a leopard caught in their traps and immediately informed the wildlife department.
The officials said a rescue team was rushed, and the leopard was tranquilised before being shifted to Manda zoo.
