Humhama, Kashmir | January 03, 2026: The Passing Out Parade (POP) and Attestation Ceremony of Recruit Constable (GD) Batch Nos. 128, 129 and 130 was held with full ceremonial honours at the Subsidiary Training Centre (STC), Border Security Force, Kashmir, at Humhama on Saturday.

The impressive ceremony marked the formal induction of 447 young recruits into the Border Security Force as “Seema Praharis”, ready to serve the nation and safeguard its borders with dedication, discipline, and courage.

Shri Solomon Yash Kumar Minz, IPS, Inspector General, Subsidiary Training Centre, BSF Kashmir, graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. He reviewed the parade and took the salute, appreciating the recruits for their precision, coordination, and immaculate march-past, reflecting the rigorous training imparted at the institution.

Addressing the recruits, the Chief Guest congratulated them on successfully completing their training and exhorted them to uphold the highest traditions of the BSF. He emphasized the vital role played by the force in maintaining border security and internal stability, calling upon the new recruits to serve the nation with integrity, discipline, and unwavering commitment.

During the ceremony, medals and trophies were awarded to recruits who displayed exceptional performance in various indoor and outdoor training activities. Five trainees from each batch were honoured for their outstanding achievements, setting benchmarks of excellence for their peers.

The parade for Recruit Constable Batches 128, 129 and 130 was commanded by Recruit Constable Subhdeep Panja, whose leadership contributed to the flawless execution of the ceremonial drill.

Senior officers of the Border Security Force, representatives from other security agencies, along with parents and family members of the recruits, were present on the occasion. The attendees lauded the discipline, professionalism, and high standards maintained during the parade.

The ceremony concluded on a note of pride and motivation, reinforcing the BSF’s legacy as India’s first line of defence, committed to protecting the nation’s frontiers under all circumstances.
