3 dead, several feared trapped as residential building collapses

    At least three people were killed after a multi-storey residential building collapsed in Uttar Pradesh’s Lucknow on Tuesday.

    Many people are feared trapped under the debris. Uttar Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Brajesh Pathak said that the building collapsed suddenly and the fire brigade team and NDRF are present at the spot for rescue work.

    According to witnesses, the building collapsed suddenly.

    “3 dead bodies have been found and sent to the hospital. NDRF, and fire brigade personnel were present at the spot, rescue operation is underway,” said UP deputy CM Brajesh Pathak.

    Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath took cognisance of the incident and he is monitoring the situation.
