Delhi has reported 11,491 new cases in the last 24 hours while 72 patients have died. Delhi Metro Rail Corporation(DMRC) yesterday closed 2 metro stations which include – Saket and Qutub Minar. Both the stations witness large crowds daily and that’s why the DMRC has closed the entry gates of the stations.

Delhi CM on Tuesday urged the Centre to cancel the CBSE exams due to a surge in cases. The CM requested people to delay their planned surgeries and be under home quarantine if there is no need for hospitalization. He also requested people who have recently recovered from Covid-19 to donate plasma.

Meanwhile, the Centre said that it was fast-tracking emergency approvals for foreign-produced vaccines that have been granted emergency approval in other countries.
