Srinagar July 30: Police on Saturday claimed to have killed a terrorist in a gunfight in Wanigam Bala area of Baramulla district in north Kashmir.

“Baramulla Encounter Update: 01 terrorist killed. Search going on. Further details shall follow, ” a police spokesman said.

The encounter is believed to have broken out after security forces cordoned the area following a tip off.
