Rajouri, Dec 24: A road accident in Manjakote, Rajouri district, claimed the life of a student and left two others injured on Wednesday. The collision involved a motorcycle and a Tata mobile load carrier.
The three injured were immediately rushed to a nearby hospital. One of them, identified as 15-year-old Mohd Aqib Khain, son of Mohd Rasib, later succumbed to his injuries at Government Medical College (GMC) Rajouri. The other two students are reported to be in stable condition.
Police have registered the case and initiated an investigation into the incident.
