Srinagar, Jan 28: A 41-year-old man from Uttar Pradesh was found dead inside his hotel room near Dal Lake in Srinagar late Tuesday night, officials said.
According to an official, the man was discovered unconscious around midnight and was immediately taken to SMHS Hospital, where doctors declared him dead on arrival. Medico-legal procedures were carried out following his death.
The deceased has been identified as Taranjit Singh, son of Pushvandar Singh. Authorities said a probe has been launched to determine the cause of death.
