J&K has recorded 3,532 cases of coronavirus today. 30 people have died of coronavirus in the UT. GMC, Jammu has reported 9 deaths while GMC, Rajouri has reported 1 death, DMC, Ludhiana has reported 1 death and Raj Hospital, Pathankot has reported 1 death.4 people have died at their homes.
In Srinagar 1 death has been reported from JLNM, Srinagar, while 5 deaths have been reported from SKIMS, Soora. 4 deaths have been reported from SMHS, 2 deaths have been reported from CD Hospital, Srinagar and 1 death have been reported at GMC Anantnag.

Kashmir has reported 2,360 new covid cases while Jammu has reported 1,172 cases. Srinagar has topped the list of maximum cases with 932 cases out of which 27 were travellers. Baramulla has reported 60 cases out of which 10 were travellers, Budgam has reported 160 cases out of which 3 were travellers, Pulwama has reported 110 cases out of 3 were travellers, Kupwara has reported 206 cases out of which 3 were travellers, Anantnag has reported 239 cases out of which 8 were travellers, Bandipora has reported 50 cases out of which 5 were travellers, Ganderbal has reported 77 cases out of which 3 were travellers, Kulgam has reported 165 cases out of which 2 were travellers, Shopian has reported 105
Jammu has reported 495 cases out of which 26 travellers, Udhampur has reported 125 cases out of which 14 were travellers, Rajouri has reported 133 out of which 4 were travellers, Doda has reported 37 cases, Kathua has reported 95 cases out of which 23 were travellers, Samba has reported 82 cases out of which 8 were travellers, Kishtwar has reported 13 cases, Poonch has reported 42 cases out of which 12 were travellers, Ramban has reported 74, Reasi has reported 76 cases out of which 12 were travellers.
977 people have been recovered in Kashmir while 310 people have recovered in Jammu. The death toll in J&K has reached 2,283.
Dominos delivers free pizza to Police Department in Jammu
Dominos distributed free pizza among the Police Department and as a token of thanks in Jammu today. The initiative was taken by the Bahu Plaza branch of Jammu that delivered pizza to small poor children too.
“We distributed free pizzas among our covid workers including auto drivers too. They are the bridge for patient families these days. The Police Department works 24*7 for us. Due to them, we all stay safe. This pizza was a thanksgiving gift from us.” Mr. Rajendra, Manager of Dominos Bahu Plaza branch said
“The smile on children’s face was heart touching. Pizza is something everyone loves. Since they couldn’t afford food we did what we could to make them happy.” He added
The Policemen thanked for the initiative by the Pizza firm. “We appreciate the value Dominos has shown us. It’s delightful to see people caring for us.” a Traffic Police official said.
Dominos has shown care for the covid workers in the health crisis. They initiated their part of help for the society. Let us come forward and lend our support too.

“PM Cares Fund Ventilators in GMC Jammu to be audited”, Dr. Jitendra Singh
PM Cares Fund Ventilators in GMC to be audited as ordered by Minister of State for Prime Minister’s Office, Dr. Jitendra Singh. He has called for the audit of ventilators under Prime Minister Cares Fund at the Government Medical College in Jammu.
After continuous efforts of JK Media to reach out to PMO about the ventilators condition in Jammu region, Dr. Jitendra Singh called for a high level meeting on a short notice. As per reports, he issued an order of daily bulletin on Covid situations and ventilators in Jammu.
“Called for Audit of Ventilators and Oxygen, regular issue of bulletin updating about the status of COVID management and keeping the public representatives informed about what is being done.” Dr. Jitendra Singh’s Facebook post read
“Engage services of UG/PG Medical students, Nursing students and Retd. Doctors/Paramedics and ask GMC doctors to surrender their rooms/chambers in Chopra Nursing Home so that the same could be used as Covid chambers.” it added
The meeting was attended by Advisor Sh Rajiv Rai Bhatnagar, Financial Commissioner Sh. Atal Dullu, Divisional Commissioner Sh. Raghav Langar, GMC Principal Dr. Shashi Sudan with others.

COVID: Jammu and Kashmir reports 4,509 new COVID cases and 65 deaths
COVID: Jammu and Kashmir on Wednesday recorded 4,509 new COVID cases, taking the tally in UT to 2,29,407, while 65 COVID deaths have been reported in the past 24 hours pushing the death toll to 2,912 in the Union Territory, officials said.
Out of the fresh COVID cases, 1,759 were reported from Jammu division and 2,750 cases were from the Kashmir division, they said.
The number of active COVID cases has reached 51,542 in the Union Territory, while 1,74,953 patients have recovered so far, the officials said.
The death toll due to the COVID reached 2,912 as 65 fresh fatalities – 46 in the Jammu region while 19 in the Kashmir valley were reported in the past 24 hours.
The officials said that Srinagar district recorded the highest number of COVID cases that is 863 cases, followed by 621 in Jammu district and 377 in Baramulla district.
Meanwhile, police have arrested 145 people and lodged 92 FIRs for violating COVID guidelines and realising fine to the tune of Rs 1,09,200 from 678 people for violating the COVID guidelines in the Kashmir valley, a spokesman said.
