J&K Govt Orders Transfers And Postings Of Forest Officers

Principal Chief Conservator of Forests (PCCF) Dr Mohit Gera ordered the transfer and postings of 29 Range Officers and Foresters with immediate effect.

As per the Forest deptt order No 115, Feroz Ahmad Marazi, Forester In-charge Range Officer, Rafiabad Range, Langate Forest Division has been transferred and posted as In-charge Range Officer, North Lolab against available vacancy, Shahid Hussain Treg, Forester In-charge Range Officer, East, WUCMA has been transferred and posted as In-Charge Range Officer, Control Room Tangmarg Special Division against available vacancy, Abdul Rashid Laharwal, Forester In-charge Range Officer, SC Malhar Range, Sindh Forest Division has been transferred and posted as In-Charge Range Officer East, WUCMA vice Shahid Hussain Treg, Peerzada Masood Ahmad Shah, Forester In-charge Range Officer, Qazigund Range, Anantnag Forest Division has been transferred and posted as In-Charge Range Officer, Awantipora Range, Awantipora Forest division.

Mohammed Amin Magray, Range Officer Kuthar Range, Anantnag Forest Division has been transferred and posted as Range Officer, Qazigund Range, Anantnag Forest Division vice Peerzada Vlassod Ahmad Shah, Ghulam Mohammed Sheikh Range Officer South Pyrethrum Range, Planning and Publicity Division has been transferred and posted at Kaw Bagh Range, Seed Division, Srinagar, Mohammed Ashraf Sheikh Range Officer North Pyrethrum Range, Planning and Publicity Division has been transferred and posted at Estate Range, Urban Forestry Division, Srinagar. He will hold the additional charge of North Pyrethrum Range.

“The arrangement of assigning higher responsibility in respect of Foresters is purely on temporary basis and shall not confer any preferential right to the claim of promotion against higher post substantively, which shall be done on the basis of the recommendation of the DPC in accordance with the rules,” read the order.

COVID: Jammu and Kashmir reports 4,509 new COVID cases and 65 deaths

COVID: Jammu and Kashmir on Wednesday recorded 4,509 new COVID cases, taking the tally in UT to 2,29,407, while 65 COVID deaths have been reported in the past 24 hours pushing the death toll to 2,912 in the Union Territory, officials said.

Out of the fresh COVID cases, 1,759 were reported from Jammu division and 2,750 cases were from the Kashmir division, they said.

The number of active COVID cases has reached 51,542 in the Union Territory, while 1,74,953 patients have recovered so far, the officials said.

The death toll due to the COVID reached 2,912 as 65 fresh fatalities – 46 in the Jammu region while 19 in the Kashmir valley were reported in the past 24 hours.

The officials said that Srinagar district recorded the highest number of COVID cases that is 863 cases, followed by 621 in Jammu district and 377 in Baramulla district.

Meanwhile, police have arrested 145 people and lodged 92 FIRs for violating COVID guidelines and realising fine to the tune of Rs 1,09,200 from 678 people for violating the COVID guidelines in the Kashmir valley, a spokesman said.

Pass system for J&K employees: Admin

The district administration Srinagar on Tuesday stated that the movement of government employees shall be facilitated through the pass system from tomorrow (Wednesday).

Srinagar district administration in a tweet has requested the HODs to place requisition for passes immediately.

Civil Secretariat To Reopen In Srinagar Today

On Tuesday the Civil Secretariat of J&K will finally reopen after a gap of 6 months in the summer capital of the UT. This year due to a surge in covid cases partial darbar move took place so the Secretariat will also function in Jammu. Today at 9:30 am JK LG Manoj Sinha will go to the Secretariat after which the working at the Secretariat will start.

According to the reports, 62 offices will primarily work from Srinagar while 73 will primarily work from Jammu. 13 offices will have civil secretariat-like arrangement during this period. The Administrative Secretaries will be available at Srinagar and Jammu as per the roster already worked out by the government.

This year 2 major changes took place during the Darbar move. First maximum records were transferred through online mode and second, the administration prepared lists of employees those who wanted to work from Jammu and those who wanted to work from Srinagar.

As per executive no god of honour and other customs will take place and simply, the work will continue in the Secretariat.
