Mughal Road Remains Closed
Srinagar, Jan 30: Traffic on the Jammu–Srinagar National Highway was moving smoothly from both sides on Friday, with light motor vehicles and heavy motor vehicles allowed to ply, officials said.
Passenger vehicles were operating normally in both directions, while heavy motor vehicles from the Qazigund side continued their movement towards Jammu. Authorities said traffic flow remained smooth along most stretches of the highway.
However, officials cautioned that road conditions are slippery at some places due to prevailing weather conditions. Motorists have been advised to drive carefully and at reduced speeds to avoid accidents.
Meanwhile, the Mughal Road remains closed for vehicular traffic, officials added.
