Udhampur, Jan 27: At least four people lost their lives in a road accident on the Jammu–Srinagar National Highway (NH-44) near Jakhani Chowk in Udhampur district on Tuesday, officials said.
According to officials, the accident involved a bus, a four-wheeler and a motorcycle. The collision was severe, resulting in the death of four persons on the spot. Information about possible injuries is still awaited.
Police and rescue teams reached the spot shortly after the incident and launched relief and rescue operations. Further details are awaited.
