Srinagar, Dec 17: Four flights were cancelled at Srinagar International Airport on Wednesday due to adverse weather conditions and operational reasons, officials said.
An IndiGo flight scheduled to depart for Amritsar at 9 am was cancelled owing to poor weather at the destination airport. Another IndiGo flight bound for Kolkata, scheduled for departure at 6.45 pm, was called off due to operational constraints.
In addition, two SpiceJet flights to Delhi, scheduled to take off at 1.30 pm and 5.45 pm respectively, were also cancelled for operational reasons.
Airport officials said flight operations continue to remain weather-dependent, and passengers have been advised to stay in touch with their respective airlines for the latest updates on schedules and possible changes.
