Jammu, January 19 : The Indian Army’s White Knight Corps on Monday paid tribute to Special Forces Havildar Gajendra Singh, who lost his life during a counter-terror operation in the Singpura area of Kishtwar.
In a post shared on X, the Corps said the General Officer Commanding, along with officers and personnel of the formation, honoured the soldier for his supreme sacrifice during Operation TRASHI-I, which was underway on the night of January 19, 2026.
The Army said Havildar Gajendra Singh showed outstanding bravery and determination while carrying out the operation, upholding the finest traditions of the force. He was remembered as a soldier of rare courage and selfless commitment to duty.
The White Knight Corps also conveyed its deepest condolences to the bereaved family, assuring them of the Army’s full support during this difficult time.
Meanwhile, security forces continue operations in the area as part of efforts to eliminate terrorist threats and maintain civilian safety.
